I've seen a few videos lately on social media of people making this "pulled ham". I love ham, I love pulled pork. It made sense to give it a shot and we thought it was absolutely delicious! Hope you enjoy it if you give it a try!

Add diner to ham(optional) then season with BBQ rub.
Get smoker to temp of 250 degrees
Place ham in aluminum pan on smoker until internal temp hits 165 degrees.(approx 3-4hrs)
Add braising liquid and cover with foil.
Increase smoker temp to 300 degrees and continue to cook until ham hits 205 degrees internal.
Remove from smoker and allow to rest covered for 30-45 min.
Ham should easily shred at this point. Remove bone and fat, then sprinkle with brown sugar.
Eat as is if you prefer but these were so good as "Hot ham and cheese sandwiches"
